One thing that I see alot is how every one says the Stillen is really loud. I think this might scare a few people off. First off, it deffenitely is loud, especially until the 200-300 mile break in period. After that in cabin noise goes down a lot. But if your outside the car, and hear it your like wow what is that??? But its the type of loud thats a GOOD loud, not a F'n piece of **** loud. Just a little heads up to people that might be thinking of the Stillen, but are afraid of it being OVERLY loud. Plus you cant beat the power...

I put stillen cat-back on my 5AT Coupe about 2 wks ago.
Ive never heard exhaust tone outside b/c never wanted someone drive my G.
But My friends who heard the exhaust note from the outside says it is def. loud as hell but still sounds good like luxury brand car.

Note at Idel is def low as nice, there's little bit droning at around 2000-3500 where I mostly lose HP and TQ. I also feel the G losing power when driving, but after 3500 my G pull me hard as it gains HP. but still need something to back up low-end.

Now It's got 300miles on it, and guess I just finished break-in period. Couldn't really feel the difference in sound, and yet sounds really loud tho.
Still have a bit of burning smell at the top-end, but very satisfied with sound.
When WOT, I feel like the engine blowing up, and some people in their car freaked out and honked at me b/c I passed them as loud as I can.
Need to be driving a bit gentle tho..
Ive been trying to figure out some rattle under the rear side, which happens very randomly so kinda hard time to catch this rattle.
I'll go and talk to tech and maybe check out some leakage.

BTW....
As you guys know that the true dual exhaust has back pressure issue, and Im planing to install crawford header and crawford cats. need bullet tho

It's got unbeatable performance that I like it the most.
Im trying to intergrate my DIY Pics and clips but time never allow me to do it.
If you need sound clip I will send you.

Anybody Has stillen cat back with test pipe or crawford cats? please PM me.
I really want to know the way to solve the back pressure problem.

I was SUPPOSED to be getting my test pipes and headers installed this weekend, but unfortunately I have to wait until next Saturday. To begin with, Im a highly imaptient person, but this is just killing me. I cant wait until I add the above mentioned to my Stillen, its going to be ridiculous (at least I hope)

It is NOT Loud. At idle, it is very mellow (especially) with the "H" pipe I put in. It may be quieter than stock, (and this is with headers and HiFlows) but at WOT, the thing roars like a banshee. A very exotic sound. What i really like about this exhaust is the quality of workmanship and the fit and finish. It installed like a glove. AND, the best news, absolutely no drone.

Will the integration of an "H" pipe help with salvaging back pressure?
