Sounds good. I actually know Billy Boat personally (he's an indy driver in case anyone didn't know). He's a stand up guy, so I'm sure his company has great customer care/service.

Lightbulb

That looks just like the cat-back system that Magnaflow, Stillen and BB
came out with. Magnaflow makes most of these systems. Stillen told me it
was a low-buck cat-back system and cheep compared to there true dual
system. Why not spend a few more $ and get a system that offers you not
only HP but the sound you desire?

Low buck and cheap? If that's the case, you're NOT talking about B&B's exhaust systems! Whoever said that (cough cough Stillen) was simply using lame sales tactics to sell you their "crap" instead of loosing a customer to someone more reputable!

B&B makes some of the BEST systems around and have been known to build some of the most saught after Porsche and BMW race and street systems on the market and race circuit. I had a full-blown B&B race exhaust system on my 95 M3 and that system was custom built (not an off the shelf special) and cost over $1300! Not on par on any level to Magnaflow, which is more of an "off the shelf exhaust system."

B&B systems are each hand built (never mass produced) and manufactured to very precise specs, and yes this was one of the very first aftermarket exhaust systems out for the G and Z. It may look "cheap" (not as flashy) compared to the more common JDM units out there, but don't let its look fool ya. It sounds mean and if B&B states it produces power, that's as good as gold in my book.

If it looks like anything else out on the market, its because they copied it from B&B. The price is also not bad and if I had to swap out my Fuji system with anything else tomorrow, I would go with the B&B!

I have it and in my opinion it is the best sounding of all. that is if your looking for a mid freq note. louder than most and not rice in the least bit. coming from 2 Stangs, a 91 5.0 which i installed all mac headers, flowmaster H pipe with 1 chamber muffs and a 97 with the same buy the X pipe with 2 chamber. those sounded like a a true V8 powerhouse but the G with the B&B sound more like a Ferari. seriously not rice which i cant stand. I used to have a 97 GT w/ 2 champered Flowmasters (never ogt around to getting an X/H-pipe), and I have to say it was one of the best sounding cars out there. It had an 'All-American' rumble to it while still osunding smooth and racy. TOo many American muscle/pony cars (especially the LT1/LS1 F-body) sound way, way too deep and too much like a pick-up truck. The 4.6L in the '96+ Mustang (especially the DOHC engine in the Cobra) sounds like the American version of a Ferrari.

'American version of a Ferrari' as in that it purrs at you instead of growl and grunt like a typical American V8 engine. It's more like a sports car instead of like a pickup truck.

The B&B exhaust sounds great in the clip on their website. However, some people who actually have it installed on their cars have said that it drones in the cabin. It's also supposed to be really loud. If you look at the cat-back design, you'll notice that there are no resonators on the piping. This could be why it drones and is so loud.
