i just finished installing DC headers this weekend and also have crawford cats..........no ses light here........i remember reading other threads and others have suggested checking the O2 sensors

It's all about the O2 sensors. You have to be extremely careful with them when doing the cats.

I just put on Crawford Cats and Nismo Headers. No CEL. No problems.

Sounds to me like you damaged one or both of the O2 sensors, or forgot to hook it back up.

that's what I've heard from header installs, carefull with those O2 sensors. even if they were reinstalled properly, they could have been damaged when removed, or when they were off while the new setup was being installed.

Good luck! hope it's a simple fix like this.

If the cats you installed are cat deletes, you will have to do modifications on your o2 sensors(do a search). If you have crawford or other decent high flow cats, you probably damaged one or both of the o2 sensors(like the above responses stated).

Try an ECU reset to clear the light and restart your car. If the CEL comes back on, then you will probably need to replace your 02 sensor.
