Get ride of the Cats or that Exhaust.
That exhaust is so prone to rasp.
Cats are definitely not helping the situation.
Go get the FUJI. HKS if you can wait a year.

lol
farting makes me rofl..
but well
i think the farting problem is
a combination of what you have..
instead of primarily a single part's problem

maybe you can try take the cats off? or
try take the stillen off and put the stock in

Cheers,

From what I understand Stillen tunes their systems with products they engineer or are in agreement with other mfrs which they market cooperatively with. Far be it for me to claim being an expert on exhaust systems, but I suspect that having Stillen headers with RTEC HF cats and your Stillen catbacks WOULD NOT produce that rasp/fart sound being that those components are all engineered/marketed by them. I know it sounds like a sales pitch, and believe me, I'd rather not sound like I work for them (which I don't) but once you start mixing different brands of systems, you're really on your own as far as nuances like that farty sound and perhaps some performance characteristics at various RPMs.

For instance, HKS doesn't make headers or HF cats. To the best of my knowledge, they tune their cat backs using stock exhaust mani and cats. So to bolt on a Stillen header with stock cats and an HKS hi-pwr exhaust, for example, could produce undesired results being that those components were likely not engineered nor tuned together.

Now this doesn't mean that the systems won't be effective when used together, but something like raspy farty sounds would be something to be addressed by the manufacturer during testing. If they don't hear it while they're testing, with WHAT they're testing, then they have no way to know that it may occur when used in conjunction with other products.

I know Stillen headers cost almost double what Megan Racing headers cost, and I can certainly see why one would rather purchase the MR headers over Stillen. I'm sure much of that cost IS the "Stillen" name. But perhaps another component of that cost is the testing they do with their components to ensure that any customer is completely satisfied if they go soup to nuts with their system.
