Why is the HKS Hi-Power exhaust taking soooo long to produce? Does anyone know? It has been going on 4 months backorder now?!

It's just funny how they can build my car from start to finish and delivery in only 3 months. But it takes longer to make just an exhaust? Do they not ship them out as they are completed, at least a barrel full at a time or something? Weird.

Yea I waited about 2 months for mine...they said that HKS has to get a certain amount of orders before they start producing a batch. It's well worth the wait though.

it's worth the wait indeed. this exhaust is quality, and performance. either wait for the HKS, or the Espelir exhaust.

I ordered mine on June 27. So I'm going on 12 weeks!! It's killing me!! I'm thinking about cancelling my order, but then I see pics in this forum. Keeps me going. I hope this large backorder doesn't affect the quality when they produce this next batch of exhaust

Does anybody have more pics of their HKS exhaust to feed our fix? Here's one I photochopped on my car...

The fact is, if HKS USA does not receive their shipment, none of the vendors will have them. These exhausts are not even offered in Japan either.. possibly USDM only.
