Good advice. They claim that their new 05 generation exhaust is much quieter than the original and does not sacrifice any power gains. I pna on adding the Stillen CAI as well. Borla is about $200 cheaper though. I guess I am still alarmed at the price of mods to power ratio coming from the Cobra. For $1500 - $2000, you can add 100 RWHP/TQ on a Cobra, but again I am comparing apples to oranges

FWIW, my local performance guy who is an authorized Stillen reseller/installer told me to go with the AEM CAI for my coupe over the Stillen.

WHich one is the AEM? Is it shielded like the Stillen, or open air element (sucks hot air in form the engine)? Do you have pics.?

Brasil.. I have the Stillen Airbox and the Stillen cat-back dual exhaust. When I dyno'd it I had that, UR crank pulley and a Crawford V5 Plenum.

.... 264.3 rwhp on stock 17's (and it's a 5AT)

Intakes and exhausts are a matter of personal preference. I happen to really like my setup. And there is probably someone out there that really doesn't. Find a local buddy on the board that has some of these mods, or attend a GTG and make the decision for yourself. Also, each car/engine takes to the mods differently.

Cheers, Ted

My AEM cold air intake sucks air from about 10" off the ground... definitely not hot engine bay air. I don't have pics of where the filter element is, but I have pics of the intake. You'll be able to see that the intake tube jets way down in front. (BTW, no threat of water from below because there is an OEM guard behind the chin spoiler that goes back about a 12"-18".) For pics, click here Eric's Infiniti
