I have the HKS hi-power exhaust on order, but I'm a little concerned that I might lose some noticable low-end torque because of less back pressure. Is this true? I only have 1/2 plenum spacer and z-tube in the engine; other than that, it's all stock. I don't have plans for a turbo...yet. Maybe a S/C is in my future, but I really don't want to lose low-end powah!

I have the Invidia G200 and lost low end HP and TQ. I'm beginning to think a True Dual is too big for a NA car, unless you have cams and/or head work.

This is a good question. The larger diameter pipes provides less backpressure and velocity of the exhaust gases, this is true. So does any reduction in backpressure/velocity usually reduce low end power athough gaining high end power? This appears to be the case.
So if the above is true, would an aftermarket y-pipe (3" outlet) have the same effect although it may not be noticeable? Some low end sacraficed for high end power?
