Need '05 Sedan Exhaust Opinions
I've got an '05 Sedan and want to invest in an exhaust system. My family has an '03 Sedan with the Stillen exhaust and I really like the sound and HP gain.
According to the Stillen website, their '05 cat-back exhaust is "NEW & IMPROVED - SAME GREAT POWER NOW WITH QUIETER TONE". I've heard that this "quieter tone" is quieter than stock.
Anyone have first-hand knowledge?
I'm also considering the Borla. Any comparisons on sounds, HP gain, installation, etc?
Thanks in advance.

The new stillen exhaust is quieter and better sounding than the previous generation Stillen. The Borla and Stillen sound completely different so it really depends on your style. The Stillen is not quieter than stock but it adds a european like tone to it. If I could do it again, I'd get the new Stillen exhaust. Unfortunately I do not have any sound clips to provide.
By bending one of the hangers on the muffler, the original Stillen true-dual will fit perfectly on your 2005. That is what I am doing, and I absolutely love the tone that came with it!
I put the Stillen true dual in my coupe and the drone was unbelievable... zero to headache in about 10 minutes!
I installed a Perforated x-pipe muffler in place of the Stillen X-pipe - and WOW - what I was looking for...no drone and the perfect sound.
