How good is JWT pop charger with Ztube?

I am thinking about getting a pop charger with Z-tube. How good is it?
I am going to feel the difference in power?

I have the Z-tube and the pop charger. Love both of them.

Any real gains would be minimal, at best. Will you feel the difference? . . . I would venture a guess that it would take quite an acute driver to truly feel any difference.
However, I would say it's a fun mod. Enjoy!

To best honest, I wouldn't expect to feel any huge gains from the JWT or any type of CAI.

Put on whatever type of intake you want and then get you a Motordyne spacer or a Crawford plenum. The combination of the intake plus spacer/plenum will give you more noticeable power.

When I put on my AEM cold air intake, I was extremely disappointed. The sound wasn't that different and the power felt crappy on the low end. I got the JWT pop charger. It felt a little better. The sound was great (sound is usually why most people get the pop charger). However, once I got my 1/2" spacer from Tony, I then started to truly feel a difference.

yup, if i could do it again, i would do the jwt popcharger again with the z tube, but i wouldve gotten that spacer instead of kinetix. my kinetix plenum is great, but it makes the engine sound a bit weird.

what would be the difference between car A which just has a plenum/spacer and car B which has both intake and plenum spacer? About how much hp, and would this be worth the cost? Thanx.

In that scenerio, I'd say that car B is producing around 8-12WHP more than car A. Now, that may not sound like a ton of HP more, but for the cost.....it's definitely worth it.

An intake by itself doesn't do a whole lot. I think an intake is only worth it, if you are coupling it with other breathing mods.

injen gives you the best number.
then nismo.
however, hp gaining is so minimal...most people dont bother with them.
so they go for the sound.
i heard that JWT PC gives you nice sound.
personally, i'd get injen over nismo but every one of us gets different result.
dont rely on people's comments too much...sometimes you regret even if it's a small thing.

your best bet would be to:

1) search the forums for similar questions

2) go to a g35 meet and listen to people's reviews on the mods they have done

Option 2 worked for me when I was modding my accord. I was stuck between intakes, cams, pulleys, exhaust, headers, etc etc and when I went to an Accord meet and was finally able to hear everything, my decision was alot easier. So far, from what I have read here on the boards, most people go with the Z-tube. I guess it is that 7 crank horsepower difference between the 350Z and the G35

Stillen is great. Z-Tube is a sound enhancement - not a performance one. Also, you wont be removing your bumper to change the air filter with the Stillen box....
