Anyone try Random Tech cats?
Anyone try Random Tech cats?
We used this cat extensively with high powered LS1's and couldn't hurt them if we tried (even on a turbo LS1 making 600+ hp.). These cats are not only indestructible, but one of the best flowing cats out there. I've read lots of posts on other brands, most of them negative. Loss of power, rattling, etc.
Just curious if anyone's tried these, cause I might. They're small enough to fit where the OEM's are with room to spare. With most cars, replacing the cats will yield considerably more hp than a cat back (and would be great together).

On Vettes, I've heard good things. However, I haven't really heard many good reviews on the G35/350z. I've read several reviews where the welds didn't look good and some of these flat out failed (due to overheating, etc.).
I'd vote for Crawford over the the Random Techs.

after reading about all of the collapsed RT cats, i would definatly go with crawford over RT. im guessing that RT has fixed this problem since it was so long ago that they had all these problems, (about a year ago when i was reading about all the cats collapsing after 2000-6000 miles... but still i wouldnt trust them. Just like i dont trust kinetix plenums
