Crawford cats with OEM exhaust?
Crawford cats with OEM exhaust?
I was wondering about replacing the factory cats with Crawfords' on an otherwise stock exhaust system. Any performance gain or change in sound?
Yes! If there was only one exhaust mod you were going to do, this would be it. The stock Cats are the most restrictive part of the exhaust system. The sound will change, a little louder, but with no rasp. The tone will stay about the same, only as I said, a little louder.

you seem to only lose power if you get borla headers or if you do an aftermarket y-pipe w/ the stock exhaust.
headers+h-f cats seems okay.
there a really good looking set, look similar to helix and also have the bracket connection like the oem cats so there s no rattle underneath. a lil rasp once you take off after heating up the car but after that it makes the stock exhaust sound deep. i m sorry i can t compare to crawford man cause i never heard them b4 especially on a exhaust.hope this helps bro
