Stillen is the best CAI

I first had an Injen CAI for 5000 miles, then I was convinced by someone to go with an AEM CAI due to its design. Well neither CAI was to my liking so I installed the stillen CAI and I am very pleased. My G pulls harder and has more instantaneous throttle response. If anyone is interested I am selling my Injen CAI(5000 miles for $135), AEM CAI (300 miles for $155), and my Eibach pro springs(5000 miles ~$160). Email me at LDBOGIE80@aol.com if you have any questions.

You may have trouble selling these, now that you just told everyone that the Stillen is the best....no?

I am not a fan of the long kneck CAI's, I never said they were bad. Plus for my pricing I am giving them away.

Can someone post a pic of this Stillen CAI? I thought the only one available for our cars was the Stillen airbox with cone filter and that's not a CAI. Is it any different for the sedans?

You are correct. The Stillen CAI is a K&N cone filter with a heat box around it and looks stock when installed.

Thanks G35club, I will do that. In the mean time I am willing to let all 3 go for $395 SHIPPED!!! I am sure someone wants this steal considering I paid $330 for the AEM last week and over $520 for the springs and Injen 5 months ago. PM me or send me an email to LDBOGIE80@aol.com. Take care.

Installed it yesterday, drove it today and verry happy with it. Sounds really nice with a z-tube and also noticed a kick in power from 4000 rpms-up. I'm happy with it!

Yeah, the Stillen is......awesome....especially with the Z tube. BTW the sale of my Injen CAI is pending. So if anyone wants the AEM CAI +eibach springs I can let those go for a GREAT package price and free shipping.

Yea, you're right. Technically, this is a WAI, not a cold air. The only thing that lets them call it cold is because "it draws air from outside the engine bay", which the stock design does as well. Gotta love marketing.

There were lots of posts in the past about Stillen intake being too laud and I recall a couple of people even said they reverted back to the stock intake after they got too many looks from people on the road!

What do you Stillen guys think? I've been wanting to get one for a long time, but don't want a really laud car!

Does the Stillen cai setup get in the ac line in your case? I've read others that said it was rubbing the ac line. Do you have any pictures of your Stillen cai?

Thanks...

No it doesn't and I didn't take any pictures. There is some flexibilty when positioning the z-tube and Stillen CAI to avoid the AC line. You'll be fine.

Does the Stillen sound kicks in only when it goes 3000 to 4000 rpm+. When it's at low rpm's, does it sound like the regular oem paper filter? Also, what year is your car since 05's is a bit louder (exhaust) to begin with.

Also, how long did it take you to install the Stillen CAI?
