Pop charger cleaning

How often do you guys clean and re-oil your popchargers?

It really depends on your daily driving conditions and how much stuff your filter is sucking in as you drive. Obviously, the worse the air quality, the more often you should clean your filter.

Anywhere between 15K and 30K is good. Every 15K is when the dealership would change the oem air filter. Others have said that you can simply open your hood and check out by looking at the pop charger to get an idea of how dirty it is.

You don't want to clean too often but you also don't want to wait too long. But its a pretty simply process to clean so not too big of a task.

Ok thanks, i was wondering if it would be better to replace it with a K&N cone style of the same size or to just reuse mine.
