i was wondering how good stillen was, well i wanted an exhaust that i will totally feel the gains and stillen was one of the best from my viewing of past threads...... the, main concern i have is that it will sound to loud, i wanted something that will turn heads but not a rice rocket sound, i was wondering if fujitsubo gives you gains u can feel so...... please let me hear a stillen sound clip, and som whp numbers from the fuji.

Funny, my generation 2 Stillen catback on my X sounds like the dual on that Z. Interesting. It's a shame that's a dated post but at least you get a general idea.

Cant freakin wait, my Stillen is arriving Friday, and I should be getting it installed Sunday. I haaaaate waiting. Will post about my impressions on power gain after the install.

 

funny thing w/ the stillen is that there's a slight break in period, and the sound will change. i went over to the stillen shop in scal and they fired up a g that already had one installed. i really liked it, the sound was still low and grumbly, w/out the ricey note that i wanted to avoid.

after mine was installed, i noticed immediately that the exhaust note was very similar to what i heard, but significantly louder. the techs told me this is normal and will mellow out after about 150-300 miles. sure enough, right at 150 the exhaust mellowed out a bit. i'm totally pleased w/ it and would definately recomend it.
