www.crawfordz.com They're $1150. I've talked to the designer of these headers and for what it's worth he does seem to know what he's talking about when it comes to mods.

Performance Nissan does sell some Crawford stuff (Plenum and Cats) but not headers. These are expensive, as we all know, and custom made to order. Doug Stewart, at Crawford has made the decision that only CrawfordZCar will sell the headers. So, if you want them, give Doug a call. He's a great guy to talk to, and always willing to share advice.

i have a set of TopSpeed Pro1 headers installed on my coupe (same design as DC Sports, Strup, Nismo, and i think Alphawerks). if i had to do headers again i would have gotten the Crawfords, and the reason is this...

headers are such a tremendous pain to install, they're not something you want to swap later on to get more power. now that i have done every airflow mod (Z-tube, Popcharger, MD 3/8" spacer, headers, Crawford Cats, Fujitsubo Y-pipe, and Fujitsubo Legalis-R exhaust) i am looking for ways to eeek out a few more HP here and there. even if the crawfords are only good for a few more whp than what i have now, i wish i would have gotten them.

Okay, after looking over the Crawfordz headers they are indeed an equal runner length. The alphawerks are not from the picture, the last tube at the rear is no where near the same length as the front primary. Now this may only come down to a difference of say 5rwhp, which for the money I don't think is worth it. You could spend an extra $500-600 on something else to get the power like porting your cylinder heads which would give you more then a little longer primary tube(this maybe over a grand, but you have at least some of the money towards it)

Now I cannot find a good picture of the Strups so does anyone have a good shot from the side or top to view the runners. If these are an equal runner length then these maybe the best bang for the buck.

I was going to go with the DC Sports headers, but the money I was saving up for my Vortech is now going towards another fund (engagment ring ) so i decided I might as well at least treat myself to the BEST headers.

There is NO equal runner length header (that will accommodate cats) except the Crawford. There is a long tube header, the Xerd. It eliminates the cat. I've not heard much about it. But, from what little I've heard, the tubes are too long, and it doesn't do much. But, that's all hearsay. The Xerds are here:

Make your own choice, I did, and I'm darn happy I went with the Crawfords. Notice they say 17hp added also. Does everyone claim 17hp?

I recommend going with the Crawford headers if money is not an option. Allot of R&D went into these headers. They have the best tubular and collector design and they do put down a good amount of power. I have dyno charts as well of neffster's old car and they are in line with what lowrider dyno'd at. Plus, the customer support and service of Crawford Z car is first rate.

If you're on a budget then, I'd recommend Strup or DC Sports headers. The tube design of the Strup, DC's, and alphawerks is so similiar that you'd be just paying for a name of if you went with the alphawerks. Gains are probably similiar as well...

i agree..... if funds are of no limitation, Crawford is the way to go..... however, for the money and the extra few horses, i would rather go with somthing else..... i went with the alphawerks.... love them and would not change them out... too expensive... but if i did have the money, sure...... why not buy the best!

Aren't the Strup headers more then the alphawerks? The alphawerks are going for $675.

Keep in mind that Strup headers don't fit the sedan, only the coupe. At leasts that's according to Partshippers.com

Don't forget the cost of installation too. I've heard that Crawfordz headers take forever to install. With strup headers, you don't need to lift the engine, which saves a lot of time/labor.

So in the end, the Strup headers will be a cheaper.

Well my decision has been made. I went with Alphawerks headers and Crawford high-flow cats. These two mods combined with my list of mods already should produce a pretty stellar package and give me a huge boost in power. Anyway, thanks for everyone's help. Peace.

Please let us know how they perform. Also, could you take a picture prior to installation and post it up, just want to see how they look. Thanks and good choice.
