Intake & Exhaust Questions and info regarding various aftermatket exhaust systems for the G35 (Headers,Y-Pipes, and Cat-Back Systems)

MREV going on today ... reset ECU ??

MREV going on today ... reset ECU ??

Is an ECU reset a necessity or will it "re-learn" on it'sown once my MREV ion later today?
Wanted several opinions to get everyones input..... thanks!

dont need to reset the ECU..........wait until you get more mods and then consider a TS reflash

it's not a big deal - just pull the battery overnight after you install it, hehe.

When you are installing the spacer, the instruction tell you to take out the negative battery connection. So that will do a reset for you anyway. good luck.

After its installed, run your car WOT from ~2K RPM to redline a couple times.

Shut off the car. Remove the key. Start it back up and its ready to go!

Thanks all. Install went smoothly and it just so happened that the car got two WOT's immediately after install so things should be just about right. It will get a nice little road trip on Thursday.
Just put some Infinity Kappas up front so all "sounds" should be more enjoyale...........
On to the exhaust!

only if you take 24hrs to install it, lol ^_^
