Hey Guys,
I just wanted to know if a Cold Air Intake will void any warranties or if the dealerships will give me any [censored] if I take the car in for service with an Injen CAI. - Daniel

If the CIA does anything to your car, it may not void the warranty, but it certainly won't be acknowledged by the US Government. [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]
A CAI, on the other hand, will not void your warranty. Unless, of course, it specifically causes some sort of damage to your engine, which is highly unlikely.

the only thing that probaly will lose warrantie would be ur MAF (mass air flow sensor) its about 200 dollars to replace and most likly wont have any problems

You can always swap the stock CAI back in before
taking it to the dealer and tell them you never modified
it.

The Question is not what it will void but which one to use!
Man,......I've heard a 100 different opinions, to the point where I think we need to put it to a vote in the forums. Injen, AEM, K&N or a Z intake----they seem to be the most popular. So which one is it,...........lets end this debate once and 4 all!
Ive got a Injen on order but I've heard it cuts out at 80mph,.....so I dont know if I want it anymore. Some input would be great.
