avolon racing carbon tube v. utr carbon tube

i can buy something that looks exactly like the avolon carbon tube very cheap, only it looks like the one for the z: http://gallery.bcentral.com/GID51101...take-Tube.aspx

WILL THIS FIT MY G??? or will i need extra parts or something.

And what is the difference between this tube:
http://gallery.bcentral.com/GID51101...take-Tube.aspx

and the utr carbon fiber tube, for the G?

http://performancenissanparts.com/ca.../utcarbonf.jpg

on the avalon racing site there is also another tube that it says is for the Z:

http://gallery.bcentral.com/GID51101...take-Tube.aspx

is there any difference between the Z one and the G one? i can't tell b/c it shoes the g tube installed and the z tube by itself. and I don't know on the installed pictures which parts are stock and which parts are part of the sale. I am totally confused. the utr picture looks like the utr tube is longer, but the avalon g tube has a bit bigger link piece at the top.

Someone knowledgeable, please help.

There's no difference between the tubes on either one of those sites, only difference is the price. You can see the watermark (unlimited tuning) on the picture on the avalon racing site. unlimited tuning is UTR. It's the same tube for the G and Z, we have the same engine...

thank you very much for that succinct explanation.

i still have to ask, why do the two tubes look different installed?? on has that little accordian looking thingy on the bottom and the other has a piece uptop that looks longer.

from what i can tell they are just different flex joints. in the end...its still just a tube! i dont think it will make much of a difference performanse wise, so just go for what you think looks better.

ok i found this link on the unlimited tuning website: http://www.unlimitedtuning.com/picts...lleryPUT-2.jpg

it seems that there are 4 other parts that i would need to install the utr tube. And it makes me think that one on avalon racing is not the utr one. i dunno.

I wondered about that as well. I found out that the picture is a bit misleading. The flex tubing, airbox connector, and breather hose filter DO NOT come with the CF tube. All of the flex tubing and the airbox connector are the ones you already have in your car.

We apologize for the confusion. Let me clarify the part.

Avalon's website needs to be updated.
And our site is also under reconstruction. Please look out for a new e-commerce website shortly.

The 'S' shaped tube you see on Avalon's site is our previous version carbon fiber tube for the G only (it utilized the stock couplers). That part has been discontinued.

Our current CF tube fits both the Z and G and comes with 2 hump couplers and also has a built in pcv valve.

Hope that helps!

Thanx for clearing that up, UTR.

Can i ask why that design was discontinued? Will it flow as well as an oem z-tube? Aso, when was that part last sold?

so the S design doesn't have a pcv valve? does the oem z tube have a pcv valve? Any other differences?
