I'm so glad this thread is a sticky. I wouldn't have known about protecting the AC line if this wasn't a sticky. I just bought my JWT popcharger a few weeks ago and I recently installed it. I also got a Z-tube when I bought the p/c. Thank you for all the questions and answers everybody... (im still learning )

THREE inches? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot? Yeah some stuff must have definitely been moved around!

I just put my JWT+Z on tonight, I'll have to go take care of the A/C line tomorrow afternoon, perhaps I'll go with some "engine bling" while I'm at it haha.

I spoke to my mechanic and maybe my measuring is not the best but he said that he did move the things around to make sure nothing would rub but i measured today and its about 2 on the part that usually rubs. I'll try to get pictures up as soon as I can.

Better fix than wrapping. Just space out the bolt that holds the z-tube to the plenum. That should be spaced the same amount as the plenum spacer. No rubber. 1/2" clearance here.

When I installed my Z tube, I protected that little AC line with a small piece of rubber fuel line split down the middle - easy

Maybe a loose clamp or rubbing somewhere; a shot of spray silicon might help locate the squeaky area...

...wellll that's a good question. I was thinkin any where you suspect it might be rubbing - to see if the squeak temporarily goes away. Spray just one area at a time to try and find the offending area. Just because I've never had to do this one myself doesn't mean I not an expert - and you can have a big lol on me when my AC line blows...
