Last week I installed the JWT POP charger.
I read a thread where a member installed his JWT POP charger and someone mentioned to either move or protect the ac line from rubbing up against the POP charger.
Where is this ac line? What is the best course of action, moving it or protecting it?

Also, do I have to reset the ECU for installing this intake?

I'am thinking about getting a popcharger, i have never heard anything about moving the ac line.
About the reset, i wouldnt do it its long and complicated, when i installed my z-tube i thought about doing it but its not worth it, our cars computer will adapt to the change in about 1000 miles, or so ive heard

The ac line is that thin silver piping right next to the MAF sensor. I didn't know you could move the ac line, but what a lot of people did was to use a styrofoam insulator and rap up the areas where the PC may "bang" into the line.

You can disconnect you battery for a night and that should reset the ECU.

the styrofoam insulator works well ..get something to protect ur ac line and u should be fine

I honestly dont see how any damage will happen from a little rubbing, but just to make sure I double wrapped it in wire loom.

that little rubbing has cost other memebers 800+ in repairs...the hole was rubbed into their lines after a year of driving around...

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS...

you must protect this line, otherwise, just a little rubbing will gnaw a little hole in your AC line. You'll leak and it will cause you big bucks to repair this. The leak will be subtle and undetected until your AC will not chill.

what do you recommend to use to protect the AC line?

Is there any problem with Z-Tube and AC lines rubbing with a stock airbox?

I just popped it out of the plastic bracket and moved it an inch...then covered with foam tape

I used a zip tie ant anchored it to the bracket next to the AC line. We're only talking about millimeters. 2 years so far and absolutely no problems

If it was resting on there for the first 2 weeks do you think it will be okay?? ****!! I didnt have the braket at first!
