We have these mated to an aftermarket exhaust on our car, but we'll try and get a sound clip on a stock system.

UTR, I have a 06 coupe and I was told any test pipes would cause an engine check light to come on. I am really interested but I dont want to see a check light. Is this true?

 

We have not installed one on an 06, but there's a possibility you will throw a light. Can anyone confirm?

In my experience, anytime a testpipe is installed you can expect a light. That is why it is there. To inform you that your emissions system or the A/F mix is FUBAR.

The cheapest way to prevent this is the HELP 42002 no-fouler fix. I have had it on for 5K miles and no light. Do a search on how-to.

 

I installed my UTR resonated pipes on my stock 03 Today. I will post a new topic sometime this week with pics, a review, and sound clips. Initial impressions...they're pretty good.

hmmm....my Fast Intentions resonated pipes didn't throw a CEL on my 05 - I've got about 1K on them already....
