i heard a lot of good things about crawford also. but $ is a big issue. i've dropped about 7g's already on my car. told myself i would stop but might as well finish off the exaust with headers and test pipes or cats. the crawford cats are almost double utr pipes. i dont want the rasp though. do you think resonated pipes will eliminate rasp. i am also afraid it will be to loud with injen ses and alphawerks headers. with all this in consideration what would you do?

You'll get a bit more power with the resonated test pipes but you'll have to use the spark plug fouler setup if you want them installed (unless your car is an 03) and your car will smell bad sometimes when stationary. I wish Unlimited tuning had a sound clip for us to hear whether or not the rasp is bad or gone. I've heard/seen a car with Labree resonated test pipes, and it definately sounded meaner than stock (he had it mated to a borla exhaust).

Either way whether you go with resonated test pipes or high flow cats, your injen exhaust will sound very loud.

I had the RT stainless steel cats. The guts of the cats imploded. I switched to used Crawford high flow cats and have been pleased ever since. I like them.

I just bought a set of the test pipes from forum member UTRevolution. You can get them from him quite a bit cheaper than performancenissanparts. I hope to install them as soon as I get them but we will see. I will post a topic about it when I do.

I have T-Pros resonated Test Pipes, the power is great, but even though they are resonated you still get rasp (which I really dont mind, and I only paid $50 for them)...I wish someone would post some sound clips of resonated test pipes that actually do what they are supposed to do...eliminate rasp.

If you get them please let me know how they sound. If they sound decent I wouldn't mind picking them up along with the Strup headers.
