Help With Mrev

i installed the MREV+ with copper isothermal gasket. I followed the directions to a T. I hear a slight whistle, directly related to how depressed the throtttle is. In my opinon, it can be one of two things...1, a leak, and the air being forced out at highper pressures as i increase the throttle... or 2, the sound of the intake sucking in that much more air to fill the bigger manifold? i think it may be the leak tho, as it sounds much like a turbo spooling up (like my turbo sentra)... I also feel like it may not be as fast anymore as stock, but that is what im hearing some other people experiencing as well.. I def have more low to midrange torque, but i feel i dont get as much above 35K... i duno, did i trade torque for HP? does that make sense? someone Please chime in here..

Hmmm . . . Above 3.5k is where the action happens for me. I have no prolonged whistling noise. I hear a slight hiss sound when blipping the throttle only. Please re-check to make sure you have reconnected and properly torque everything. Good luck!

i experience the same symptoms, whistles as it sucks in air (the more you press throttle). i think this is normal. i am honestly not sure about the increase in torque or HP as i never really pushed it/dynoed before mrev. So i have nothing to compare against But otherwise it's fine for me.

If you have a smooth Idle, You are fine. Torque is what wins in everyday driving, and races. Maybe now you dount wait for your car to reach redline!
