whistling = air leak.. If you fallow the instructions and torque everything in a gradual cross pattern then you'll be fine..

if youre in so-cal area and need any help give me a PM

not always; every since i got my iso thermal spacer from 3-4K if I get on it I get a loud whistling sound, almost like a s/c ...... no leaks here and it's only present in that 1 RPM band. I like meh whistling (plus other coupes with similar mods as me have it as well, so i know it's not a leak)

I have the same sound. I thought it was an exhaust leak since I had my HKS installed. But I only started hearing it since I installed my Stillen intake about a week ago. It wont hurt the car?

Wwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Don't believe that's possible......most everyone is
slightly diffrent. In my case all these things add to
the sound of my G......Stillen CAI....Z-Tube....
Magnaflow cat-back and 1/2" MotorDyne ISO.
If you don't have these exact mods the sound will
change some what. I don't have a whistle, it's
more like the sound of a large holly quad at f/t
only higher pitch.

I get this weird whistling from the Ztube/K&N filter combo while under acceleration. I checked all the clamps and everything is tight.

Any ideas?

Maybe whisltling is not the right description because that implies air leaking out, thus the confusion with possible air leak problems. If you have air leak, then that's altogether different issue and NOT normal.

The sound that is normal after mrev/cai/ztube install is more sucking IN. Pucker up like you're about to whistle, now suck in air....kind of that noise. So, it should become greater when you accelerate.
