buying kinetix HFC...need opinions!!

hey guys just need some expert advice from people who have the kinetix HFC...if you look at my signature you'll see what i got already..and with that set up im experiencing some rasp when i really push the car which i hate!...ive basically given up on curing the sound but i really wanna put in the kinetix HFC...will the cats make the rasp worse??..or will i get my deep tone back?...i got the rasp after the header install so i just figure that after the cat install ill have even more rasp...im even thinking bout getting rid of the dual set up and going with aftermarket y pipe into a single magnaflow muffler...i dont want my car sounding like s h i t....let me know what you guys think...thanks!...

I have a magnaflow custom setup...no rasp...test pipes will make any car raspy...what you can try doing is adding a bigger resonator or another straight resonator to cut some of the rasp out
