So while my car is at the body shop for the addition of my INGS+ lip and sideskirts, I have decided NOT to go TT as I originally planned. During the countless hours of research, I learned that I would spend close to 20K for the kit, installation, tuning and accessories. I have spent close to 15K or so on my G so far and I don't want to do something to my car will make it less reliable. Seems that even with the boost running low, a stock motor can blow at any given time. For the car to be reliable, the engine requires internal work. I do not want to go through all that. I rode for about five years and sold my 02R1 last year. I miss riding so I have decided to use that TT money and get another bike, I can't take it anymore. I love my car but I LOVE riding.

I like the sound of the stock exhaust so I never swapped out. As far as power/performance bolt-ons I only have a Z-tube, Pop-charger and the MREV+ Copper package. I started with the full suspension, wheels, tires, brakes, audio, exterior... was planning on going TT but changed my mind. Decided to go all motor.

Since I like the sound of the stock exhaust I was thinking of getting Strup Headers and Crawford High Flow Cats.

Should I just get the headers?
Should I get both at the same time?
Will I lose any low or midrange power with the High Flow Cats?
Crawford High Flow Cats really worth 500? especially on a NA motor?

i <3 my headers and cats combo (w/ stock catback)....just take the stock tone, deepen it 3x, louden it 5x and you've basically got that setup

plus at WOT from 4-6kish RPM I get a cool blow-off-valve-ish sound from my headers - they make a really cool TSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS noise ^_^ (and no, it's not a leak, it's the increaseed air volume and going full throttle)

i noticed a HUGE increase in middle/up top power and even a good boost down-low.....very confident that i didn't lose any power anywhere in the band. i gained everywhere.

Crawford Cats
I personally believe that Crawford Cats are worth every penny. There are no power loses anywhere in the power band. I noticed a big increase in mid-range power. The Cats give a little more to the stock exhaust tone. Makes it louder in a nice way.

I know you said you had the 350 Evo A arms in front but what are you running in the rear?

Join the club, Monkey. A moderately modded car isn't such a bad prospect afterall.

Stillen Rear Camber Arms. I didn't need any toe arms but if I did, I wasn't about to use those cheap toe bolts. I couldn't use the Stillen Toe Arms because I am using regular springs and not coilovers.

+1 - In addition I have Crawford Headers, yep they cost more, but worth every penny. My exhaust is an Invidia G200 Dual with an "H" Pipe.

I didn't know Crawford Headers come polished like that.

What a coincidence. I ordered TS headers/Crawford cats last week, and I'm installing them this Thursday. Then comes MREV++ and ECU tuning (deciding between UniChip and UTEC). These really are my last mods too, until I get a BBK that is.
