Re: Crawford Plenum Installed

BobbyD, I look forward to the next meet, having missed the last. Things have settled at home now and my new 'kids' are much more comfortable now here.
I'm installing either tomorrow, if Isabel 'messes' around here, or the weekend. Either way I'll post pics of what's what.
I bought from Yuichi at StrictlyZ in Cali. and paid some brokerage and taxes on delivery. No 'import duty' on products made in North America due to free trade, but the feds nail you for GST and PST on the product and brokerage fee (UPS)
If Doug C had shipped to my home, I'm sure the same fees would be payable (altho less shipping because he's closer) and not sure about brokerage as with UPS.

I've lost track of the next meet. What's the scoop?

Thanks Zimbo, I'll add your tutorial to our FAQ/DIY forum.

Re: Crawford Plenum Installed

gsedanman,

Thanks for the info! I'm not sure about when the next meet is, maybe Rumble can set one up. Actually, I'm really interested in making a few passes at the drags. Would like to compare how my sedan does against a coupe. If a group of us agree we can have a meet/race and hang out, should be fun.

Re: Crawford Plenum Installed

I see some plenums look different. Some have bumps on top of the plenum and some don't. What's the difference?

Re: Crawford Plenum Installed

bkchang79, I'm not sure what the difference is in some of the plenums, but my guess is that the Sedan's, Coupe's, and Z's are all finished differently and are not interchangeable.
I've seen some with bumps on top, some without (like mine). Here's a pic of my Crawford Plenum I will install shortly on my Coupe:

Re: Crawford Plenum Installed

The coupe and sedan version are identical, I believe. But the 350Z version needs a "dent" in it so that the hood will fit.
