hey guys... finally got a g, its an 05 6mt very nice..... the question is.... where the exhaust pipe comes down from the exh manifold, there is a bigger kinda square looking part of the pipe.... i'm wondering if these are the cats, if they are, can i empty out the cats to get a little more power?? by the way the car has a stillen cat back and aem cai

I don't know what part of the country you live in but
in my home state it's not a good idea to remove the
cats. We just replace them with hi-flow units that
keep our Gs smog legal. If you don't have smog
police like we do in Ca. I guess you can do what ever
you want....LOL Sounds like you have a
ride with good mods, take good care of it!

 

yeah.... its an 05 w/11000 mi, i'm in sfla, and they don't test cars to get ur license plate anymore, so has any one heard bout removing the rock inside the pipe??
