It's not a continuous hiss. That's most likely induction.
For leak, think of the sound of Fred Sanford's truck.

I can't really blame him though for thinking everything topspeed is crap - when i have a negative experience with something I'll get pissed at it and bash it as well - it's just life

Unfortunately, my header problems are from Alphawerks headers, which is probably related to TopSpeed in some way anyhow.

I'm going to get my TS Ceramic Coated locally

According to ZquickSilver on his thread, and what I've seen in his pics, the forwards (1st pipes) run UNDER the other two rear pipes then come out on top at the collector? It's Stillen that has its forward runner on top of the other 2.
Unless Zquicksilver laid his setup backward, and Stillen has its picture upside down, then I must be wrong.
Then again, I'm just speaking based on what I see on the pictures. I haven't look at the header section of the car yet, so I don't know how they oriented.

You're right. I didn't do real mods on my G35C since I just got them in January. All I did was installing the sway bars. I don't know anything.
Not that I did build an All motor H22 Accord for Auto-X, installation, engine build, paint, preps, etc., all by myself. Then again, in your eyes, it's just a cheap Honda.
TS headers are cheap. I admit it. But seems like you're the only one bashing it up and down, and you support Megan? Which is kinda ironic since you seems to hate cheap stuff. Get real here, they're the same ****s. I choose TS because I wanna check it out and see how they are.
I can shell my cash to anything more expensive, but it's pointless if they're just the same quality. TS in my eyes are lil better than Megans because of the quality and they even went a step further and smooth out the ports. I've help couple others instal Megans on their cars (not G35C).
They have rough ports. I've had experience will many different kinds of premade aftermarket stuffs, but none can beat custom frabrication. I know from the fact because my H22 header are custom, with proven gains, and so are other Honda enthusiasts.
Btw, if you even did real mods on cars, you know that none of these headers are optimized for max flow and performance. Even Crawford has its flaw. I won't go into detail since you're mister know it all.
My initial reaction of the Topspeed header is that they're decent and better than Megans. But in no way I'm saying that Topspeed is super good and number one. I don't doubt your problem with them, because parts are proned to having problems. Honestly, these TS headers can't compared to what I have on my Honda. I'll see if I can go to an extent and make it better. That's all I'm saying, since I rarely keep my possesions original the way it came with.
Here's a sample pic of custom setup I talked about, not my fabrication, courtesy of Mainstream performance.

Funny how none of us remember to always mentioned FF movies a lot. I admit, I enjoyed the 1st movie and will go to see the 3rd movie. They're entertainment, of which, served their purposes and entertained me.
What, you love it or something, but too embarassed to admit it? Real men aren't shame to admit to anything. I'll take my leave and let you have fun with your car and expensive parts. Because at least, you can go around, showing your buddies that: "Hey, I spent 300 bucks on the intake and $800 on the headers."I appologize OP for Jacking your thread.
I don't have any input as of now because I haven't installed it yet. I'll give you more detail once I'm done
