What I do for the oil change...is jack up the car, and then remove only the screws for the rear half of the oil cover...about 5 or so. ...you can then bend down the cover and hold it in place with something while you change the oil...leaving the rest of the screws in place...

yes the oil dipstick is a piece of Junk..yet another way infiniti cheaped out
