Hey everyone i just recieved my Injen CAI today and let me say i am sooo impressed for this mod. When i first opened the box i was like sweeeett..But then i got to the install and how i had to take off the bumper, saw off the bumper cushion for clearance and all that bs and i said screw that, and thought about the Motordyne Plenum Spacer, and many people were saying that getting a cold air wasn't very good for the plenum mod and i jsut said whatever and kept it with short ram....I actually like it better now that i have it for short ram...I am buying the plenum very soon. And to how it performs.....WOW I had the z tube and k&n combo and they compare nothing to this intake. It sucks really hard the second you give it gas and once you get past 4k and get on it it is soooo deep and soo nice...It sounds like i have an aftermarket exhaust??? Maybe I'm over exajerating (Didn't Spell Right) but i am very impressed with it. Just thought i would give me .02 here is a pic of it.
P.S. I'm getting the engine bay detailed...It is filthy

That looks great! Please let us know how the intake works with the plenum spacer when you get it installed. LOL . . . I need to get my engine cleaned up, as well. Enjoy!

truplay8's looks like mine if I didn't connect the lower pipe. But how does your filer fit on there? My pipe gets bigger after the air flow sensor adapter. My filter wouldn't fit on the adapter.

holyfrickster's might be a newer design? Looks like his air flow sensor adapter is built into the intake pipe now. Ours were a seperate plastic piece.

The first one is a short ram, not CAI. CAI sounds a little different than the short ram IMO. They both sound very aggressive though. Mines looks a little like GreddySetGo's, but it still a different model:

The little rubber cylinder thing goes down behind the headlight. Where the pipe goes down into that little hole and the filter is on the other side. There should be a little bracket that comes off the pipe. There is a screw directly under it that you need to remove and replace that with the rubber bushing.

I did not cut my CAI to put the bypass valve on. I simpley stuck it inbetween the air flow sensor adapter and the metal pipe that goes downward.

Those of you with autos, it looks like your front pipe is shorter and there doesn't look like there will be enough room to stick it in like I did with mine.
