Caliper Paint

if i wanted to paint my callipers, what kind of paint or powder should i buy and what would last? i want to paint my callipers white(i have ip coupe), cause imo i think it would look good, but what kind of substance should i use and could i use a substance that would keep a shine? thankyou ahead of time

You can just use Dulpi-Color engine enamel, you can pick that up at Pep Boys, Kragen, Auto Zone, etc. Or if you got extra money to spend VHT caliper paint is supposed to be good. I've had much success with Dupli-Color personally though.

I'm not sure how good a white caliper would look, but thats just my opinion. Enjoy!

Oh and the key to longevity, as with any painting. Prep the surface well, clean and roughen it so the paint will stay. And allow the paint to properly cure before use or handling the part.

if you have a little more money, look into getting them powder coated.

Powder coating would be a more durable option. But its going to be a lot more costly, for a set of 4 calipers, you're probably looking to spend I would say $150 or so. Also, turn around time for powder coat at most places is a few days at the soonest, so you have to be prepared for that kind of downtime.
