Licence plate light.

I got a few extra Xenon 168's laying around since they seem to go out in my wedge and clearnce strips a lot...

Will they fit in my licence plate holder light.. Or are they a different size?

Anyone got any info on how to change that bad boy-- I wanna put these 168' to good use.

If I can't use them ill just order them-- I'd like to change my map lights and the bottom of my doors as well if anyone knows the lights but more importantly how to safely install them.

Thanks everyone

they will fit. install is very easy. they are tucked in though. basically there are two separate lights and each one is clipped in place. take a look and youll figure it out. i have some led 168s for my license plate. looks nice. good luck.

You'll need to remove the license plate to access the lights, total of 2. They're snap on housing so easy to remove.

I changed both of them its really easy. If you want really good and bright lights i would recommened getting the 5 LED 194 bulbs from v-leds.com. For your dome light and Step light you should get the 9 LED dome light bulbs for them. On the site they have a New Hi-Power dome light bulb. Havent tried it yet cuz my lights didnt burn out yet but i will when they do.

i went through 2 pairs of LEDs already for my license plate light....i think its cause of the heat of the exhaust...looked great before it started flickering....then just stopped working

Considered it, but left the stock bulbs. The dimmer the better!

yea they fit.......install as easy as clear corners.......get on your back.....pop the clips out, twist, put the bulb in......and the only tricky part is getting the clip back in

I use Xenon normal lights-- I don't use LED's becuase heat OWNS them and they flicker and die rather quickly-- tho the 7 and 9 matrix lights are freakin awesome, these run really really hot, but match OEM headlights perfectly and are a really nice white-- ill go look at it now thanks yall

you can replace your city lights or side markers as well

city lights i wouldnt recommend unless you have time to...

side markers will take you 15 seconds each..
