I'm still waiting for this fiasco to be resolved.

So does anyone have actual pictures of how they had to modify the bumper so it can reach the lower part.
If someone has pics of the real Nismo bumper(Fiberglass) and the Urethane replica to see how they differ in that area it would be great.
Just curious and i think it would benefit others.

You will be able to see the mounting plate we had to make up to make it fit. Basically we made a plate out of double folded aluminum, one side connects to the bumper, the other side to the plastic skid guard under the car.

Thanks Elrooko I was trying to explain this to the manufacturer of the bumper and they said they never heard of this issue.
They said they were going to be making a new mold so I asked since a new mold was being made if this issue can be addressed.
We will see what happens in the future.
I have asked a few people with the original FG Nismo bumber and they had said no such modification was needed to mount theirs.
Hopefully those with the original will also post pics.
Thanks again Elrooko

Didn't need the extension for the original NISMO fg bumper. The only thing needed for a perfect fit was to remove the two foam inserts behind the bumper, which are already removed in the pics above. With these added supports in place, it caused a slight misalignment at the passenger fender.
We removed them, as the fiberglass is plenty rigid enough that it didn't need these added support pieces used for the OEM urethane bumper. After removing them and getting a perfect, OEM fit instantly, I'm certain they are supposed to be removed.
I'm not sure how necessary they really are for the OEM bumper or the urethane NISMO replica, but if you didn't remove them and you're getting bulging at the sides, give it a try. If it was molded from the original, it would stand to reason that these supports would need to be removed for the best fit. Again, not sure how effective they would be on the urethane model, or if they'll even fit snugly on anything other than the OEM bumper.
