For those of you with Decals on your car...
Ok, i have quite a few sponsors that i have no choice but to represent on the car with decals. My question to you guys on here is how can you apply decals on the car without it leaving residue on there which may damage the paint? I was thinking a good layer of wax, but then the decals wont stay on? It sucks, but i have no choice. What do you guys think i should do, i just had my car resprayed a new color and dont want these decals to leave a mess on the bodywork. Thanks!
Get some good vinyl decals. The come off the car very easly without damage. Make sure you clay wash the car or atleast the are where the decals are going. You should'nt have any problems.
If you need custom decals done or made go to www.instylegraphics.com
I have used there decals and graphics and the vinyl they use are really good quality. Comes off without any damage. Good luck and post some pics after you put your decals.

hmm...just painted car. i would leave the decals off and consider applying them elsewhere. when i had sponsors, all their logos ended up on my rear window.
unless your contract states otherwise, than that is where i would put it.
or create a poster board or plexiglass and place the stickers on there. be creative.

yeah contract says they have to be at certain angles of the car, the car has been painted for about 5 weeks now so hopefully it should all be ok. I got my decals etc from Havok Group in Houston. They do great work.

oh and for the windows, its called etch. It looks like its been etched into the glass, so it will look pretty clean i think.

what if you put a layer of the clear bra material on first and then apply the decals to that? that way you can switch sponsor decals without too much trouble. Also, it is supposed to comeoff clean with no residue.
wow!!! that's a lot of sponsors, must be nice to have the financial backing.
