Why the CF trunk is way more expensive than CF hood? It sounds reasonable around $300

What carbon fiber hood sells for $300? MSRP on the TS and JS hoods are $800+shipping, and OEM is $660+shipping. You get what you pay for especially in carbon fiber products.

If you think $300 is reasonable you must not know the carbor fiber process nor the cost of carbon fiber sheets.

trunks are actually harder to make then hoods.. a trunk has to line up perfectly for it to close and also the fact that water in ur trunk is much worse then water in ur engine bay lol

hey jim,

i am a moderator. nothing more, nothing less. my role is to simply moderate the forums.

by the way, i was just poking fun at the fact that you used the picture of a hood that has another website's name on it. why not take a pciture of the hood you have in stock and post that online?

I know buddy, just teasin ya. Believe me if I had time I would take a picture, school is back in session and I have very little free time. I sold a trunk locally so I was waiting for installed pictures, cause that seems to be what everyone wants.
