I dropped my car off today at the body shop, and it should be done by Friday. They are installing a new Greddy Front, Greddy Sides and Kenstyle Rear. I also have a huge dent on the right front fender they're going to take out, and they're also gonna adjust my vertical doors.

I talked with the owner for a while and we're thinking about going to electric shocks, so the doors will pop-up via remote. Has anyone done this mod? What are you thoughts on it? Likes/dislikes? I have the regular shocks and they're a pain in the ***. He's gonna give me a call sometime this week and give me a price range.

 

just make sure everything is lined up and is going to stay that way or else it'll shoot up and hit ur pillar and take a good chunk off..

 

Not a big fan of vert. doors but whatever floats your boat man. The kit itself should look nice. Congrats!

Yeah I understand what you guys are saying. I'll have to double check and make sure everything is done right.

The shop I took it to is an excellent place and I've had some work done on my G before as well as my old Lexus IS300 and it came out really well. I'll keep you guys posted as to updates so I can hear your feedback, the more input the better.

I went by the shop today to check out the progress. All the pieces are painted and are ready to be put on. We're just waiting for the damn shock for the doors to come.

I called verticaldoors.com and they said it shipped out last week and should be there tomorrow. If it gets there early enough they'll put the pieces on and I'll have my car tomorrow.

I'll post plenty of pics as soon as I get my car back. *crosses fingers for tomorrow*

I better have my car back today. It's been a brutal 9 days without it lol.

We couldn't go with the motorized doors because I would've had to buy a whole new kit and it would've been too expensive for something I don't want *that* bad.

they did a good job with that install... i live in broward and im lookin for a good shop to get my kit put on..what shop is that and if u dont mind me asking how much did they charge?
