KP Technologies possible interest?..

Hey peoples...

I was just acknowledging the fact the Mr. KP has produced some cool stuff for our cars. And I came to a quick thought!:

Would it be possible for KPTechnologies to produce a part to have the headlights/tailights to come on as we "UNLOCK" our car?

I don't know how many of you know what exactly i'm talking about.. but take for instance, when Acura TL/CL's press the "unlock" button on their fobs.. both their headlights and tailights come on. (I named those two in particular because they're the ones that I have seen do this. [buddies own/owned those cars before]).

Basically this is kind of a shout out to Mr. KP. I also wanted to see who would also be interested in this as well.

Oh yea!.. Supposedly this is a key fob feature already. I asked my dealer (pretty cool with the main tech. at my dealership and he said that nobody knew how to do it). So yea.. sorry if I may be out of the loop and this is actually available for use already through a reprogramming on our key fobs. If it is, then let us know yo! lol

I've actually thought about the same thing. I valet and it's always nice to have the headlights come on a car when I don't know where it is...or just to see them light up. Another example is the 300C.

Do it, Kevin.

You should be able to use a pulse timer and relay to accomplish this. Have the unlock wire trigger the pulse timer to energize a relay that will power you lights.

http://www.autoenginuity.com/Nissan-...tems-List.html
This one /\ is for all the coding...

http://autoenginuity.com/order.html

Although There used to be/is a group buy from the makers on here...
https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...=autoenginuity
/\ Group buy (idk if it is still available)

EBay...
http://motors.search.ebay.com/_W0QQs...enginuitysales
they can be picked up at around $200 if lucky... then u would just need to order the nissan cd... $99

The group buy was for $280 for the cd and link....

Maybe someone can get the GB back up and going?!

Yeah, i'd also be interested in having my headlights/taillights turn on when unlocking the car.

I'd like to have it like Lexus. On my RX330 at night when the lights are on auto and you turn the car off, if you press lock twice, the lights turn off.

That is one of my concerns about getting it.... but many members on here are using it saying it is one of their greatest mods to date.

If it's anything like VAG-COM for Audi's, it should be very simple to use, but hey, if MR. KP can come up with something, then that would be great... but the autoenginuity seems to have other benefits to having one as well
