eagle talon esi

I used to have a 97 eagle talon with a vis carbon fiber hood. i was doing about 120 on the highway and the hood flew up on me. that was the hardest my heart ever worked... aaaaaa . smashed my entire top front to back and my windshield was completely gone. luckly it was like 3am. i will never drive with a cf hood + no hood pins.

Did your hood have vents in it? It was real windy one day and I was on the highway @ about 60 and could see my TS hood shaking. Scared the crap out of me. Pulled off and just drove real slow on the access. I would think something like an OEM style would have a better chance of flying off.

I ordered the AeroCatch pins last month and have been waiting for a chance to install them. How come I see so many installed backwards. The instructions say to orient the pins with the narrow end forward. Guess it doesn't really matter.
