I have an 03.0 with the ugly doggy door.

Let's say I'm in an accident, and they have to replace the doggy door trunk lid.

Will they be able to replace it with a non-doggy door? I know I will loose the button for the trunk lid, but other than that, is it possible?

If the price is comparable, its really your call. Insurance pay out a certain amount, which part to buy is up to you, or the shop thats doing the repair.

 

oooo. didnt realize u were talking bout the sedan. that older trunk is really bothersome.

 

Im asking, is it physicaly possible? Are the lids the same dimensions?

 

i'm pretty darn sure that the 03.5 can be swapped to the 03..

nothing physical changed except the removal of the doggy door..

i have an 03 and i like the doggy door..makes it look different..but tats jus me
