g35 coupe lighting help
first of all, wanna say i'm extremely proud to be part of the G35 family. just upgraded from a 93 accord sedan, lol.
next, i had a lighting question for everyone. i'm tryin to get blue lights for the map light (DE3175), step light (DE3022), trunk light (158), license plate light(168). looked on vleds.com and found some lights and i wanna make sure i'm getting the right ones.
map and step light: http://frickinbrite.com/catalog/prod...roducts_id=145
trunk and license plate light:
http://frickinbrite.com/catalog/prod...products_id=33
is this correct? are there better or other places to get lights?
also, i want to get floor lights to match the new light setup. the attached pic is a model of what i want to achieve. whats the best way of doing this (what kind of light, cost, install how to, etc)? i'm a amature so please as much detail as possible.
thanks a million guys!

vleds are my choice of leds ![Big Grin](https://g35driver.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
looks good to me
though i would be hesitant to put blue lights for your license plates...
those are probably 12" blue neon tubes that you can get fairly cheap from ebay or pepboys...even walmart...
you can plug them in to the cig light but it wont look clean so youll have to tap into something for power..

Blue license plate bulbs will result in a quick ticket.
You can get LED tubes for about $20 each on ebay. They last forever and require barely any power. For the inside you could tap into the glove box or ashtray lights or one of your cig lighters. They'll have power whenver you have your key at "ACC". Hook up a switch so you can have them off. If you want them to come on when you open the doors tap into the map lights or hook up a relay. I think mine pull about 125ma each so 4 pull 1/2 of an amp.
