Black Headlights pic request and advice

Im getting my headlights painted black on the inside, for those who have it can you post a pic of the headlights turned on at night?

It was brought to my attention that the black paint will make the headlight output dimmer, can anyone comment on the difference in lighting after painting?

It won't affect light output. If you're painting 03-05 lamps, you're not touching the reflector at the rear, just the outer enclosure. Its the rear reflector that generates your light output. Any light you might get from the bezel is glare from scattered reflection.

06+ projectors aren't affected because the light passes solely through the glass dome.

You'll be fine.

Reminds me, I need to put a post up in the marketplace. These headlights are for sale.

interesting take on the shroud, instead of leaving the whole shroud chrome, you made the rear part black. Looks good.
