Got my 07 lights in with Pics - Problem though; Any help would be appreciated.

Installed my headlights and everything went well until I reinstalled the front bumper. If you notice, there are gaps right on the edges at the end of the bumper. I tried everything I could to get the ends to sit flush to no avail.

Spent damn near 2 hours tugging, pulling, pushing and grunting trying to get rid of that gap.

Screwed in both bolts on inside the fenderwell until they could go no more; Replaced all clips, etc and still, a gap.

Am I missing something here?

my guess would be that you wore out the hole that the screw screws in to and now its loose.

Yup, after taking it off and reinstalling it 3 times in one night, that is the conclusion I have come to. The outer screw just turns and will not tighten up so I surmise it is stripped.

gap

make sure you have the front bumber line up with the holes on the side before you tighten the bolt. Look at it then you know what i'm talking about. there is a plastic guide which itself also where you tighten the screw in, it stick out a bit so the bumber will line up. if the bumber is not in this slot and not line up and will not sit flush when you tight the screw it will mess the thread up because it plastic.
solution. make sure it line up and using your hand to hold it up against it . using a bigger screw with the same thread design will do the trick. after all it just plastic.
