Damn that looks hot. Looks like Im gonna have to get this till someone make a carbon fiber grill

 

I did mine myself. I took it off, used some light sand paper then painted it a flat black, clear coated it and put the chrome logo back on. First I took it to a paint shop and they would not do it either so I decided to do it myself. They said it would chip but I have had it for over 7 months with no problems. Still looks brand new.

P.S. I did buy an extra grill off EGay before I tried to paint it myself, just in case.

 

caskyline did mine also no chips yet. My chin lip takes more of a beating..

Tape it out with black electrical tape. Fits perfectly on the horizontal bars and keep the top of the bars chrome

 

Is there a DIY anywhere for this? Can't seem to find it, I want to know the steps involved, paint types, sand paper grit...
