Carbon Fiber Hood $131-NEW???
#32
you guys don't see the major picture here...
judging by the picture, the hood seems to be composed of carbon fiber in natural black pigment.
however... why is it cheaper than the fiberglass hood? hmmmm~~?
well i talk to the agent and the hood has been primered. so more than likely, the weave is imperfect and composed of some ****ty cf... and that is why it's much cheaper than the fiberglass one.

In addition to that you'd have to worry about the hood latch points breaking and the hood flying up into the windsheild. You could use hood pins... but I don't think hood pins would look right on a G35. Just my opinion.

Just go with that old saying you get what you pay for. I really would not like risking my G, or myself ,as one of the other gents said hood flying up and hitting the windshield, to save a couple hundred bucks. Or even the aggravation. I Put my Seibon TS on yesterday, took 20 minutes. Done and looks great.
