Clear Bra
#16
I paid $650 to cover my front bumper and the front 18 inches of my hood and fenders. Looking back, I wouldn't do it again. It's really not worth the $$$. Plus, I managed to get a rock chip my hood about 6 inches above the cutoff of the clear bra. You can a guy to do a custom job to cover most of the hood, but it still won't cover all of it, and it'll be costly. If you really really want it, I'd say do the hood and fenders, and don't waste your time with the bumper. It's almost impossible to have them cover the entire thing, and its probably just cheaper to have it repainted.

I just purchased my car 2 weeks ago and returned to the dealer to have the clear bra installed. I dumped $743 into this including labor, taxes, etc, however I believe it to be 100% worth it. I don't know if the quality of work from dealer to dealer remains constant, but these guys performed art on my car's front end. I figured I rather get this once for the lifetime of the car, than paint my front end a few times.

Just something to consider.

I got mine done recently in the Houston area from a 3M Certified Installer. I paid $450 for the fender, hood, bumper, and mirrors. Totally worth it for the protection and peace of mind. Get it ASAP before you start getting chips! I regret waiting 3 months after buying my car to get it done.
