take off bumper or through the fender well?
i'm getting tired of taking off the wheel and undoing the fender well to get to the back of the headlights. is it any quicker to take off the bumper?

Why don't you just turn the wheel and peel the top part of the fender lining back (you don't even need to take the lining off completely)? That's how i do it. Works for me.

tried to do that the other day...got the car sitting pretty low and my arm won't fit (just able to get past my wrist and up my forearm about 2"). i guess i can jack the car up, but by then why not just take off the wheel? i hate squirming around in there, so i usually take off most of the wheel, and most of the liner. doing this twice sucks.

any bumper-off guys care to chime in about this...how long does it take, how many bolts and screws, etc?

well for the sedan there are errr....four or so plastic fasteners untop near the grill and two bolts on each side near the side markers.
to get to the bolts near the sidemarkers is indeed the most difficult thing.

I would say its easier to just jack up the front so the wheel is just touching the ground, with it turned in, you should not have a problem.....Thats how I accessed my headlights three times.....
If you use a floor jack, it really doesn't take long at all....
I think if you take off the bumper, you're wasting a lot of time....on the coupe there are several bolts along the bottom including some that are hidden.....PITA.......
