Unhappy can up repair cf hoods

well its been a couple of months since i cracked my seibon cf TS hood, and am looking around to get it repaired if possible, Does any one know if it is fixable, cuz i just called a body shop earlier and they weren't very helpful, their like "I've never heard of anyone trying repair carbon fiber." I live in AL i don't want to ship it off to get it fixed because of the chance of it getting damaged even more. If anyone knows of anyone please let me know, i really don't want to have to throw the damn thing away, it was only on my car for maybe 3 months.

Pretty much i want to repair the crack in the clear coat and strengthen right under the crack some to prevent future damage.

heres the orginal theard with pics

if i can get if fixed, i'll probably end up getting it painted except for the vents, but was wondering what you guys think if i got it where it was a gradient. Like at the tip/ hinge area, around where the crack is, it would be solid black and fade out from there so the cf is still visible in the middle and closest to the windshield

btw: my coupe is black so painting won't make it stand out much more

ooh... that's a tough one. are the cracks wide enough to let a syringe through? if yes, you can add resin/hardener into a cheap thin syringe and inject into the crack to fill them in... wetsand and buff the area afterwards. seems a lot of work and may not fix the problem 100%.

the cracks a fair small i don't think you could stick a syringe thru it without making the cracks larger, but im not sure.

any more input would be great

Thanks. I think I am going to fix mine myself this summer. It will take some time.
