how to remove spoiler???coupe
i have a 2003 coupe and im trying to take off the spoiler to paint it is it held one with 3 bolts and double stick tape? im afraid to pull and break anything i figured i ask here if anyone knew better .

you can see all the bolts from under the trunk..i beleive 10mm's take all of those off and theres a plastic tab that needs to be taken off as well under there....then ALOT of 3M double sticky...take your time.

i saw that its like a white plastic tab? is there only one of those and 3 bolts?

yes..that plastic tab was real tough to get out since you do not have a good angle on it. but i believe it was just that + 3bolts yeah...its just all bolts you can see..

no problem man...the worst is the 3M tape...that is a pain to take off.

why would you want to remove it? The holes in the trunk are permanent.
You going to have to get a new trunk, or get some kind of plugs for the holes and that will look horrible.

no im painting the car candy red and with candy paint you have to make the paint lay evenly so it would be alot easier to take the spoiler off and other small parts for a easier job
