after a 4 month wait, i finally picked up my authentic nismo diffuser from bulletproof automotive.

just as GT-Ron had warned me, the diffuser fitment sucks! it sucks that i didn't find this out a while back before i ordered it. i figure since it was authentic nismo, fitment would be perfect. i just came back up stairs from sanding the edges on diffuser with a power sander. still doesn't fit right.

in the end:
- i'm sweaty from sanding
- covered in fiberglass dust
- have a diffuser that i can't sell or return
- out $600 that i spent on the damn thing
- scraped up a part of my rear bumper trying to get the thing to fit

i'm pissed off and going to shower
i'm so pissed off i don't even want to post any pics of it
just trust me and don't buy it.

I wish I could have helped you. I bought a used one for $330. Had it painted for another $100. The thing fits like crap...the Kuruma one and even the cheaper replica ones look perfect from the pictures that I have seen.

thanks 98intrigue i wish you could have helped too. i cant believe nismo would sell such a thing. kind of losing faith in nismo over 1 diffuser. i hate buying replicas. i try to keep it real!

Well then how are the other things Nismo makes? Front bumper? Side skirts? Do those fit like crap too ? Or are they cool?

i got a Kuruma and it fits perfect everything i read on the fourms told me that the nismo one doesn't fit right sory man (

 

i've read that the authentic nismo front bumper fits well. not sure about the other stuff. but for sure NO GO on the diffuser.

I paid $199 shipped for mine from RavSpec. PERFECT fitment. Had to wait 3 month though.

 

sorry to hear that bro. mike is the only person i know that sported the authentic nismo diffuser for a while (dont remember how the fitment was tho). every other authentic nismo diffuser that ive heard of has had sucky fitment.
